PLAISIR series has released ?Nova Orange,? ?Bali Citrus? and ?Black Mist? as the ?new color of the year? respectively in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Now in its fourth year, ?Teal Green? characterized by its vivid bluish-green color will be added to the lineup. The Black Mist pen released in 2019 boasts an elegant look with a smooth and pleasant texture achieved by applying a blast processing. This time, we have selected a bluish-green color for the body while leaving the same texture.

The new pen gets its name Teal Green* from the unique reflection of the surface that evokes an image of duck?s feather. A beautiful contrast of the blue-green color on the body gives an elegant impression to the pen, making it ideal for daily use as well as a gift. Teal Green color comes from the duck commonly seen in North America with deep bluish-green feathers around its head. Also, the color was often picked up as a motif in Japan?s ancient ?Manyoshu? poetry anthology.
